Therapeutic Massage Services
All bodies are different and deserve to be listened to in their authentic self.
At the start of each session we can discuss what areas need attention, and I can help make recommendations around various modalities. One or more of the modalities listed below can be incorporated into each session.
Massage sessions are customized to each client's needs focused on relaxation, treatment, or a combination, which can include a variety of modalities listed below.
-
One of the most common types of massage, it’s designed to release stress and muscle tension. I use rhythmic, broad, sweeping strokes to calm the nervous system and promote improved circulation.
-
A specialized form of therapeutic massage that focuses on the muscles inside the mouth, as well as those around the jaw, face, and neck. During the treatment, I work gently inside the mouth on muscles such as the masseter and pterygoids (inside the cheeks) to relieve tension, improve mobility, and reduce pain caused by jaw clenching, teeth grinding (bruxism), or temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. This technique helps restore balance to the facial muscles, ease headaches, and promote overall relaxation.
-
This somatic movement-based therapy calms the nervous system and releases holding patterns created by our daily lives. Rooted in the idea that we hold tension in the mind, not the body, this work helps clients feel a sense of weightlessness. As the mind settles, the body moves more freely. I use gentle, rhythmic movements, focusing on where and how your body wants to move, which creates a deep sense of calm and relaxation.
-
It is an ancient healing method that can help ease pain, increase blood flow, and promote relaxation. I also incorporate it as a form of deep tissue work. Silicone or glass cups are placed on the skin, creating suction that lifts the tissue away from the body. Mild bruising may occur from the suction, but it usually fades within a few days.
-
It’s a soft tissue treatment designed to release tension in hyperirritable spots within tight muscle bands, which are painful to the touch or cause referred sensations.
-
It’s a gentle massage of the belly that relaxes and manipulates the muscles of the abdomen and surrounding structures. It’s especially effective for working with the diaphragm, ribs, and psoas.
-
I completed a specialized 16-hour training and am certified to work on draped and undraped breast tissue in the state of Washington. Massage in this area is beneficial for everyone. It can improve circulation, enhance lymph flow, and provide significant benefits for those who have undergone reconstructive surgery. This modality helps treat breast pain, reduces thoracic outlet syndrome, addresses adhesions, and enables broader work on muscles that connect with breast tissue. Before incorporating this work into a session, I always have an in-depth conversation with clients to discuss the anatomy and the potential benefits. Clients are encouraged to ask any questions, ensuring they feel entirely comfortable.
-
It’s a targeted massage that focuses on specific muscles or common syndromes. I can incorporate treatment work into a relaxation massage, creating a dynamic session that offers both. Alternatively, sessions can be primarily treatment-focused if you prefer concentrated work on a few key areas.
-
This therapy technique targets pain in the myofascial tissues (fascia) surrounding your muscles and bones. Applying pressure releases restrictions in the connective tissue, improving your range of motion and reducing pain.

FAQs
-
Clients are welcome to undress to the level that feels most comfortable for them. Some choose to undress fully, while others prefer to keep on undergarments, shorts, or socks—all are equally appropriate. Comfort can vary from one session to the next, and that’s completely normal. You’ll always be draped appropriately and securely, and only the area being worked on will be uncovered. I always provide a safe, professional environment.
-
I like to create a calm, quiet space during sessions, so I don’t initiate casual conversation and prefer to work quietly. However, your comfort is always my priority—if you’d like to talk, please feel free to do so. Some treatments may also require brief check-ins about what you’re feeling or experiencing, and in those moments, I’ll communicate only to support your comfort and the effectiveness of the work.
-
No, I do not. Clients who ask this question often seek a massage with intense pressure, typically believing that if the session isn't painful, it isn't effective. While I work deeply and focus on areas that need attention, my pressure is generally medium to deep. Additionally, I don't maintain this level of pressure throughout the entire massage.
If you're looking for an extremely deep tissue massage, I am not be the right therapist for you, but I can refer you to someone who specializes in that type of therapy.

Late cancellations can leave holes in my schedule that can be difficult to fill. Because of this, I ask for 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointments. The best way to do this is through my online scheduling system.
Clients who provide less than 48 hours notice or miss their appointment will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost. Subsequent cancellations will be charged the full fee of the service.
